Protocol Nomenclature 

The protocol name is derived in the following manner:

The first letter in the name identifies the Research Project or Core where the protocol originated:
S = SARS, I= Influenza, P = PMC, T = TAC, M = MMIC

The additional letters identifies the model system:
CL = Cell lines, M = Mouse, NHP = Macaque, PC = Primary Cells

If the protocol is a general one that applies to all model systems there is only the first letter denoting the Research Project or Core.

The actual number starts at 001 and the ending letter P indicates a protocol to differential it from an experiment.  The number after the period indicates versions of original protocol.

For example the first protocol from each Research Project or Core for cell lines would be: SC001.0P, IC001.0P, PC001.0P, TC001.0P, MC001.0P
