To test the hypotheses that CXCR3 is an important bottleneck controlling gene expression in SARS-infected mice.
Overview of Experiment:
Groups of 20 week old C57BL/6 or CXCR3 knockout mice will be infected with 10^4 of MA15 or mock infected.
Time points of 2 (N=3), 4 (N=3), and 7 (N=4) days post infection with equivalent numbers of time matched mock animals
Viral load, lung pathology, transcriptional and proteomics analyses.
Mice will be weighed every 24 hours to measure general disease progression and any mouse approaching 30% weight loss will be euthanized.
Two RNA samples were not acceptable: 28_SM007_7.1_CXCR3_mock_d2_1 and 33_SM007_8.1_CXCR3_mock_d4_3.
Weight loss data is available in the sub-folder on the right.
Microarray data is also available.
